For the last four years, Encyclomedia has teamed with local producer Alison Fussell to produce two video presentations for the National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon. The pieces tell the stories of the Philanthropist of the Year and the Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year, through the eyes of the friends, coworkers and benefactors that know them best. This is the 2007 reel honoring Atlanta’s iconic developer Herman J. Russell and features insights from then Mayor Shirley Franklin, Dr. Carl Patton, President of Georgia State University, and Dr. Benjamin Payton, President of Tuskegee University.
