Home Depot has always done orientation in stores for a more personal touch. Enter the pandemic, and they quickly realized they needed another option. Working with Joan Produces, we flew across the country in the span of a few days to capture footage for their new orientation video. Filming in Boston (outdoors in sub-freezing temps), San Diego (in much nicer weather), and St. Pete (nice and toasty), we interviewed employees to find out what makes them bleed orange. The bulk of the video was shot on our soundstage on green screen, and we added in a custom studio background along with a Home Depot audience that appears from time to time. In addition to the standard version, we also handled closed captioning and both captioning and dubbing in Spanish. The full video clocks in at almost an hour in order to convey all the necessary info, but here’s a quick compilation of some of our favorite parts.
