We've been busy. We've been all over the Southeast capturing footage of 1 pro golfer, over 30 animals, and 2 golf courses for a new spot for Dancing Rabbit Golf Club at the Pearl River Resort in Mississippi. Working with Michael Ewing and the great folks at The Titan Agency, we've been shooting in Atlanta, Mississippi, and South Carolina. The :30 spot features John Daly's crazy pants and John Daly himself as he plays on the course and various animals gather to watch him.

We traveled first to Philadelphia, MS, to capture Daly on the golf course. With 2 days and a crew of 25 for an outdoor shoot, we kept careful watch on the weather, hoping the spring rains would hold off for us. And they did. We got great footage of Daly doing his thing. There was something missing from the shoot though- the animals. While our fearless set designer, Despina Grammenos, did have taxidermied versions of the animals for us to use as stand-ins, we actually shot the animals on green screen on 2 separate days. We used a motion control system with the RED ONE camera so that the green-screened animals would match up seamlessly with the golf course footage.

After the Mississippi shoot, our next day of filming was in our backyard at Magick Lantern studios. We had groundhogs, foxes, turkeys, and ducks on set in Atlanta. Then, we traveled to Greenville, SC, to film more animals on green screen including a very friendly deer, geese, rabbits, and a raccoon.

We're wrapping up the spot in post-production now, so look for it soon on Fox Sports South in the Atlanta area and a bunch of other stations throughout the Southeast. Thanks so much to everyone involved for an awesome job!
